Privacy

Your practice record belongs to you.

Orbital is designed to keep sensitive cultivation records on the device where they were created.

Effective 8 August 2026

Information stored on your device

Orbital stores the following information locally:

Orbital does not currently require an account. This information is not uploaded to an Orbital account or cloud database.

Anonymous website analytics

The Orbital website records basic anonymous usage events so we can understand whether the site is being used. These events can include an anonymous random identifier, page path, whether the site was opened from a Home Screen icon, tab openings, reading events, practice openings, and audio play events.

Website analytics do not include your age range, conservation decisions, release history, cycle count, check-in record, or optional release context. The current native iPhone build does not send these website analytics.

Support requests

If you choose to use the Orbital Support form, Netlify processes the email address, device and app version, and message you submit so the request can be reviewed and answered. Do not include conservation history, release records, or other sensitive personal details in a support message.

Purchases

When paid subscriptions are available, Apple will process the purchase. RevenueCat may process purchase status, product identifiers, transaction status, and an anonymous app user identifier so Orbital can unlock paid access and restore purchases. Orbital will not attach conservation history or reading content to RevenueCat.

Service providers

Netlify hosts the Orbital website and receives website requests, anonymous analytics events, and information submitted through the support form. Apple provides App Store distribution and payment processing. RevenueCat will provide subscription entitlement services when subscriptions are introduced. These providers process information under their own privacy terms.

Export and deletion

Settings includes controls to export a JSON copy of your local progress and to delete Orbital's local records. Deleting the app, clearing browser website data, or changing devices can also remove local progress. Restoring a purchase restores paid access, not local progress.

No advertising or sale of personal data

Orbital does not use advertising trackers and does not sell personal information. Orbital is not intended for children under 18.

Changes and contact

This policy will be updated before Orbital begins collecting materially different information. Questions or privacy requests can be sent through the Orbital Support page.
